The location was fantastic, at a medium distance from a night bazaar.

We loved its savoury and marvellous breakfasts!

By and large, it was right place for sightseeing in Chiang Mai, had much fun and met excellent staff at night shift. Very central location just off the centre, the center of town, and many restaurants, it was in a downtown area.

Beautiful small and really pretty hotel in every way with outstandingly accommodating staff at night shift. Fantastic food for tasty and wonderful breakfast at fair prices. Marvellous and brilliant location close to Tha Phae Gate. Bars and restaurants in the area🙂

Really enjoyed this pleasant hotel with excellent and amiable staff at night shift. The standard king room we stayed in were good-sized with nice balcony.

Good location near Tha Phaya City Gate. Charming hotel on a quiet street. Steps away from Sunday Night Walking Street market. Great buffet breakfast and nice pool. Staff went out of their way to make the stay pleasurable.

The hotel was brilliant. As a single female traveller I felt very comfortable, the staff was lovely and were very helpful. I arrived early in the morning and the room was ready for me (four hours before check in time! Just fantastic after a long overnight flight). All spoke good English and were were welcoming and always smiling. They anticipated ones needs and were always happy to help. The pool area is lovely, good computers and fast internet. The location of the Vieng Mantra is fantastic, easy access to Chiang Mai's attractions. Lots of restaurants near by and easy transport to others. Very good value as a mid priced hotel. I highly recommend it. In fact my best friend is going in July and on my recommendation she has also booked the Vieng Mantra....

The pool is a bit cold, but as I was there at the warmest time of the year it was great.

it was in a very central location, to pretty much everything. our deluxe queen room was modern with wifi, balcony, as example as advertised.

Their staff were not very helpful.

The place was beautiful small and gorgeous, with its incredibly kind staff at night shift. The location was good and magnificent for walking around Tha Phae Gate.

The bed was a bit too soft, that's sad thing.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in a great location. The staff went above and beyond to help us when we had trouble with our bank. The small balcony facing the street allowed us to people-watch while sipping coffee. The pool was a refreshing spot to relax in the morning and afternoon. The breakfast, though the same each day, was always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfecly lokated just within the old city, walking distance to most points of interest. Our room faced a quiet courtyard with a nice swimmingpool. Well designed hotel, clean, nice staff, and good breakfast. My partner and I will stay at the Vieng Mantra Hotel again the next we visit Chiang Mai. I booked a parkingspace outside the hotel well in advance.

Good location and rooms, maintained pool, quiet (on pool side), great staff. Don't look for luxury here, but the overall experience is very good. Definitely I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The furniture could be upgraded for the money, but is not too bad.

Marvellous and fantastic location just off Sunday night market and Phae gate, a quiet alley near the old city Eastern Gate from which one can easily reach main cultural attractions, shops and restaurants and the old town, walking distance to bars and restaurants. An electric kettle, a mini bar fridge and climate control available in the superior queen room.
